Duct humidifiers introduce ultrasonic mist into ventilation ductwork, using the existing air stream for distribution. AHU systems integrate the generation modules and mist distribution into an air handling unit, with capacity and controls selected for the central HVAC installation.

Controls That Follow HVAC Demand

Control Integration

CleanSPOT humidifiers can receive an ON/OFF signal from a compatible humidity controller, humidistat, PLC or building management system. A configuration with a 0–10 V analogue input allows output to follow the demand signal from an external controller.

Airflow Protection

A differential-pressure switch can confirm airflow before humidification starts. This option prevents humidification when the ventilation system is not operating. Specify the required control signal and airflow protection when requesting your system configuration.

Water Management & Maintenance

Configuration-dependent functions include automatic filling, dual water-level monitoring, dry-run protection, thermal protection, automatic drainage and reservoir emptying. Programmable drain intervals can be set from 1–99 hours where included. An integrated 265nm UV-C LED provides an additional hygiene measure inside the water tank.

Can an ultrasonic humidifier be installed in existing ductwork? −
A CleanSPOT duct configuration is designed to introduce mist into ventilation ductwork. Suitability for a particular retrofit depends on the airflow and physical layout. Share the duct dimensions and operating conditions so the arrangement can be assessed before equipment selection.
What capacity is available for an air handling unit? +
AHU systems typically range from 28–84 L/h. Several ultrasonic modules can be combined when a larger capacity is required. Duct units have a separate range of 4–35 L/h per unit, these ranges describe different configurations.
Can the humidifier connect to a PLC or BMS? +
Depending on configuration, integration uses ON/OFF control and/or a 0–10 V analogue signal. State the interface required by your controls contractor so the supplied configuration can be matched to the installation.
How does the system avoid running without ventilation airflow? +
Duct and AHU configurations can include differential-pressure airflow protection. The switch confirms airflow before humidification is enabled. Include this requirement in the enquiry so it is explicitly included in the proposed equipment scope.
How is pricing structured? +
